• Own adoption, renewal, and expansion outcomes for a defined book of SMB–midmarket customers, exceeding quarterly renewal and upsell quotas. • Drive proactive customer engagement, including: Regular cadence check-ins to ensure admin and end-user adoption, Value reinforcement throughout each customer lifecycle stage, Identify and win upsell opportunities through product usage insights, customer goals, and business changes. • Collaborate with CSMs to ensure smooth transition from onboarding to adoption. • Partner with Solutions, Support, and Product to resolve issues, improve workflows, and bring the customer voice back into the business. • Leverage customer data to identify adoption blockers and reinforce value. • Maintain accurate forecasting and account health documentation. • Thoughtfully use AI tools to reduce manual work and improve efficiency in routine account management tasks.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, or similar customer-facing SaaS roles.
- Ability to manage a portfolio with varying levels of complexity while balancing multiple renewal cycles.
- Experience handling commercial conversations including renewals, pricing discussions, and upsell scoping.
- Strong relationship-building skills across admin and end-user personas.
- Excellent communication skills - able to simplify complex topics and guide customers through change.
- Demonstrate strong spreadsheet proficiency (Excel/Google Sheets).
- Prior experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRMs.
- Strong organization and time management, with ability to prioritize effectively.

In this role, you will oversee marketing and sales activities for assigned steel industry accounts, driving results that align with company goals and strategic vision. You’ll manage direct and indirect sales through the local sales and service team, lead human resource efforts, and provide essential product and system knowledge to support your team. What You'll Do - Maximize sales and market share of refractory products and services for steel customers. - Develop and maintain multi-level relationships across customer organizations. - Identify opportunities to increase revenue through material, service offerings, and margin optimization. - Build strong supplier–end-user relationships to ensure long-term partnerships. - Monitor and respond to political, economic, competitive, and production trends affecting the steel industry. - Achieve customer-specific targets, including sales volume, turnover, inventory days-on-hand (DOH), and margin. - Maintain CRM records, including customer contacts, call reports, opportunities, market share, and competitor activity. - Submit reports detailing customer production, competitor movements, new projects, and market insights as needed. - Provide strategic updates on product performance, application innovations, and service enhancements. - Deliver accurate rolling forecasts for material and service needs to optimize inventory and supply chain efficiency. - Oversee demand cycles, including supplier selection, negotiations, purchasing, logistics, outage schedules, and performance tracking. - Negotiate favorable payment terms and ensure timely collections. - Coordinate daily schedules of sales activities and service personnel. - Collaborate with Technical Marketing to propose and execute trials of new materials and optimize application concepts. - Support customer refractory installation and application troubleshooting. - Travel within the designated territory and represent RHI Magnesita at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
