Application Engineer

• Review and interpret customer application requirements, product drawings, and technical specs • Recommend appropriate magnet grades, dimensions, and tolerances based on performance and manufacturability • Prepare technical quotations that meet both customer needs and internal capabilities • Collaborate closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Product, and Quality teams to ensure solution feasibility and accuracy • Develop and maintain technical content for use in presentations, product sheets, and internal documentation • Present our capabilities and solutions to customers, prospects, internal stakeholders, and at tradeshows, under the guidance of the Director of Application Engineering and Product Management • Provide engineering support across the customer lifecycle, from pre-sale design consultation to post-sale troubleshooting

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in application or product engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Familiarity with magnetic materials, rare earth technologies, or high-performance material selection preferred
  • Proficient in analyzing electrical machines and use of finite element analysis softwares like Ansys/JAMG/Simulia
  • Hands on experience on motor performance measurement in a laboratory set-up will be a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience generating technical quotations or proposals for OEM or B2B customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A customer-first mindset with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
  • High attention to detail, with ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
