Part-time Executive Assistant – Supporting CDC
SIS - Strategic Innovative Solutions
• An Executive Assistant performs multiple tasks, with a strong focus on organizational duties • Handles processing travel, training orders, and other office-related tasks supervised by management • Separating mail, completing forms for ordering office supplies • Preparing conference rooms and greeting clients as needed • Regularly communicating with staff to procure needed items • Carries out recurring office procedures independently • Refers calls and visitors to appropriate staff • Arranges meeting rooms and schedules meetings • Maintains office files and schedules tentative appointments • Makes arrangements for conferences and meetings and assembles established background materials • Submits requests into various CDC based systems • Refers non-routine requests to appropriate CDC managers or staff • Screens mail and requisitions supplies, printing, maintenance, or other services • Develops, prepares, and delivers communications to the division.
Job Requirements
- Prior experience as an Executive Assistant for the federal government strongly preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management
- Strong knowledge of government travel system a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advance Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills
- Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties
- Strong organizational, program management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
