• Execute the procurement of materials, equipment and services including price, availability, and delivery schedule. • Review requests for completeness and clarity, obtain missing information and provide timely response to purchase requests. • Prepare Request for Quotations (RFQ’s), source selections, and analyze results. • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms. • Perform price analyses using a variety of FAR approved techniques. • Manage supplier relationships and performance issues related to on time delivery and quality. • Prepare, organize, and maintain electronic purchasing records and data documenting performance and compliance.
Job Requirements
- 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field;
- 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field;
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
- Experience working with U.S. government contracts, including FAR/DFAR regulations including CPSR requirements.
- Ability to: Work both in a team and individually.
- Multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance. Prior Costpoint experience a plus.

Role Description Work with teammates of the Subcontracts team and Program Managers (PMs) to determine subcontracting requirements and answer any questions concerning the required subcontract type (FFP, CPFF, T&M, etc.), and to facilitate the completion of all required backup documents to initiate and execute subcontract actions. - Assist Requestors with completion of required procurement documentation. - Create and maintain official subcontract files with all required backup documentation. - Assist teammates in providing training to the PMs and other division partners on subcontract requirements as needed. - Provide support to and/or respond to requests for information from other corporate teammates, subcontractors, and auditors. - Support any additional subcontract negotiations required by mods, etc. - Ensure that the subcontract is consistent with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations under direct supervision. - Prepare and disseminate information to relevant stakeholders regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination. - Build positive relationships with division partners and subcontractors by maintaining excellent internal and external customer service standards. - Assist with Small Business Subcontract Plan reporting.
