Auto Insurance Claims Manager

• Lead and shape the success of our claims department, focusing on efficiency, cost control, and exceptional service • Manage and motivate claims staff with focus on IN and PA claims teams, ensuring workflow, workload, and service levels are met efficiently • Develop strategies to reduce loss costs and ensure efficient claim processing • Set and measure performance indicators to ensure accountability and team success • Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance and minimize complaints • Oversee, evaluate, and authorize claims, keeping high priority IN and PA PPA cases closely monitored • Coach adjusters handling IN and PA PPA claims to meet or exceed service objectives and regulatory standards • Negotiate claims, achieve favorable outcomes, and minimize expenses • Foster collaboration within the Claims Department, working closely with staff, supervisors, and managers • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ensure operational excellence

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant claims management experience
  • IL, TN, or TX experience preferred and IN and/or PA experience strongly preferred
  • Nonstandard auto insurance experience a plus
  • Strong customer service skills and fast-track claim processing expertise
  • Skilled at negotiating with attorneys and pro se litigants
  • Knowledge of claims practices in IL, IN, TN, PA, or TX preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with technology and coverage/liability analysis
  • High level of responsibility, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred

Location This role is fully remote, however our ideal candidate is located in the US. Please note that at this time Tint is unable to support candidates who require employer visa sponsorship. Pay transparency Compensation for this role is designed to be highly competitive and flexible, reflecting the seniority, scope, and impact of the individual hired. Base salary is expected to fall within a broad range of $100,000–$200,000, with substantial variable compensation tied to performance and business results. For candidates operating at a senior leadership level, total compensation may significantly exceed typical benchmarks. This role offers meaningful upside through performance incentives and equity, and we are open to structuring compensation and responsibilities to match the experience and value a candidate brings. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, leadership scope, impact, and location.
