Senior Data Scientist

Parkhill

• Collaborate with the Data and AI governance group, Data and AI board, and Digital Practice group to set the direction for the Lakehouse infrastructure. • Analyze large, diverse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational or project improvements. • Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to inform planning, forecasting, and decision-making. • Create dashboards and visualizations that communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Apply AI and machine learning methods, including generative AI, to support data and AI use cases. • Collaborate with business SMEs, data engineer, and the Digital Practice group to translate analytics into actionable recommendations. • Contribute to the growth of Parkhill’s data science capabilities. • Stay current with emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and data science applicable to the AEC and consulting sectors.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • 7+ years in data science, analytics, or AI roles
  • Experience with AEC, engineering, or consulting environments
  • Strong proficiency in Python or R, including relevant ML libraries
  • Expertise in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) for analytics and model deployment
  • Experience with generative AI frameworks

What You’ll Do As a Data Scientist with Imagine Pediatrics, you will be part of a growing team and business utilizing foundational Data Science to support the health and lives of children with special healthcare needs. This role is critical to understanding the power of our data and how we can leverage insights to directly impact patient care. You will: - Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them into robust ML/AI models to improve clinical outcomes for children. - Work with Data Science and other cross functional teams to define requirements, optimize data collection, build data assets, and deliver insights on business strategy and patient care - Develop ML models incorporating clinical, claims, and social determinants of health (SDoH) data to drive actionable recommendations - Define and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting for models such as evaluation metrics, hyperparameters, and drift - Independently query Snowflake and prepare data for exploratory data analysis and modeling - Create clean, maintainable code and own the model development lifecycle What You Bring & How You Qualify First and foremost, you’re passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric health care and creating a world where every child with special health care needs gets the care and support they deserve. You will need: - 3+ years of experience, including proficiency in Python and SQL - Strong background in study design, causal inference, hypothesis testing, statistics, and research methods - Ability to work with and present findings to non-technical staff across the organization · Experience working in a start-up or growth environment - Pluses but not required: - o Healthcare experience - o Experience building with LLMs and knowledge of best practices for AI integrations - o Engineering skills with experience in AWS, Tableau, dbt, Dagster, and distributed computing frameworks What We Offer (Benefits + Perks) The role offers a base salary range of $135,000 - $160,000 in addition to annual bonus incentive, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable).
