VP Business Development – Southeastern U.S.

MDD Forensic Accountants

• Develop and execute tailored business development strategies for your assigned service line, aligned with Davies’ overall growth objectives and designed to maximize cross-sell opportunities across the organization • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with insureds, brokers, carriers, program administrators, and other key stakeholders, proactively introducing complementary Davies services to expand client engagement • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor by identifying evolving needs and recommending integrated, cross-functional solutions that deliver added value • Collaborate closely with internal teams—including operations, marketing, service delivery, and other service line leaders—to design holistic, client-specific solutions and ensure consistent messaging across offerings • Represent Davies at industry events, conferences, and panels, promoting the firm’s full portfolio of capabilities and strengthening awareness of cross-service solutions within your market segment • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments relevant to your service area to identify opportunities for bundled services and strategic cross-sell initiatives • Partner with senior leadership to shape go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and business plans that encourage multi-service adoption and drive sustainable, enterprise-wide growth • Leverage and expand cross-sell opportunities across Davies’ full portfolio to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions that meet evolving client needs and deepen overall client relationships

This role blends strategic execution, deep knowledge of Arizona municipal and private project landscapes, and hands-on proposal development. The ideal candidate is highly organized, results-driven, and able to advance priority initiatives within a limited, part-time schedule through cross-functional collaboration and targeted outreach. Key Responsibilities Strategic Opportunity Identification & Prioritization - Research and map Arizona municipal and private market opportunities aligned with the Sales RPCL’s strategic priorities. - Maintain a prioritized opportunity pipeline and regularly update the Sales RPCL on progress, risks, and alignment with targets. - Align outreach plans to critical timelines, funding windows, and procurement cycles. Relationships & Market Engagement - Develop and leverage relationships with key Arizona municipal decision-makers, private developers, and partners. - Coordinate with the Sales Practice to advance discussable opportunities, initiate pursuit strategies, and secure needed input for proposals. - Collaborate with Technical Teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with team capacities. Proposal Development & Submission - Lead or co-create compelling proposal components, including scope and approach, win themes, pricing strategies, and compliant documentation. - Ensure proposals reflect Arizona market needs, regulatory considerations, and client-specific requirements. - Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and relevant teams to produce timely, high-quality submissions.
