Job Description

Client Partner

Lateral Group

• Build, grow, and own a portfolio of client relationships, driving long-term revenue and partnership value. • Identify and convert new opportunities within existing and new accounts. • Partner with Delivery and Technical Leads to ensure projects align with client goals and deliver tangible business results. • Be the voice of the client inside Lateral translating their commercial objectives into clear internal focus. • Develop and execute account strategies: mapping stakeholders, anticipating needs, and expanding our footprint through trust and results. • Stay close to delivery without being in it: you’ll track satisfaction, renewals, and the health of the partnership, ensuring we keep raising the bar.

Job Requirements

  • Proven commercial results. You’ve personally led complex deals from 0% to 100% and can walk us through how you built the relationship, structured the opportunity, and closed it.
  • An active network. You have a Rolodex of people you’d call on day one - contacts who trust your judgment and would take your call because you’ve delivered value before.
  • Agency mindset. You move fast, think commercially, and build momentum without needing playbooks. You can create opportunity where none existed.
  • Client leadership. You’ve been the face of delivery and the commercial voice for clients, ensuring their business objectives stay at the heart of everything we build.
  • Strategic curiosity. You’re energized by understanding how businesses make money, where technology creates leverage, and how to shape deals that align both.
  • Reputation for excellence. If we called five people you’ve worked with, they’d describe you as proactive, trustworthy, sharp, and relentless in driving results.
  • Comfort in ambiguity. You can build clarity where there’s none and know when to push, when to listen, and when to close.

Benefits

  • Real Impact: You’ll work on meaningful products that make a measurable difference - from healthcare and commerce to sustainability and next-gen tech.
  • Remote-First, Office Friendly: Work from wherever you’re most productive - whether that’s your home, a co-working space, or one of our offices.
  • An Outstanding Team: Talented, kind, and hard-working people who care deeply about their craft - and about each other.
  • Growth: You’ll be supported in growing your craft, exploring new paths, and stepping into greater responsibility - at your own pace.
  • A Culture of Excellence: We care deeply about doing the right thing - for our clients, our team, and ourselves. No burnout. No crunch. Just high-quality work, delivered sustainably.
  • Variety & Stability: We’re profitable, independent, and over a decade strong. Yet every project brings a fresh challenge. You’ll never be bored here.
