Inside Sales Representative Remote - US The Inside Sales Specialist at dsm‑firmenich drives growth with small local customers by delivering high‑value nutritional solutions and responsive support. The role blends proactive relationship building with handling day‑to‑day inquiries, from quotes to basic technical guidance. Close collaboration with technical and customer care teams ensures customer needs are matched with the right products and services. Your key responsibilities - Drive sales of dsm‑firmenich Animal, Nutrition and Health products—including nutritional solutions, premixes, and digital tools—to small and local customers to meet annual targets. - Provide reactive support to existing customers, including quotes, basic technical guidance, product/formulation requests, and general inquiries. - Proactively develop selected existing accounts by identifying new opportunities, following up on leads, and strengthening relationships. - Serve as the first technical contact for customers, qualifying needs and aligning dsm-firmenich products and services with their requirements. - Collaborate closely with Customer Care, Technical Experts, and Nutritional Service teams to resolve inquiries and manage out‑of‑scope requests. - Maintain accurate CRM records and represent dsm-firmenich at select trade shows and industry events to support customer engagement. You bring - Bachelor’s Degree required in Animal Sciences, Agriculture, or Agribusiness. - Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience in sales, sales support or marketing; cross-species (poultry, swine, beef, and/or dairy) experience preferred. - In-depth knowledge about the animal industry (Poultry, Swine and/or Ruminant) market segments including their manufacturing processes preferred. - Extremely, motivated, energetic self-starter with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast paced, highly visible department and ever-changing environment - Extremely resourceful, assertive individual with ability to recognize and deliver insights and solutions to internal and external customers - Strong organizational and analytical skills needed for tracking, managing and analyzing customer lead effectiveness The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $80,000 - $85,000. Job Requirements
