VP, National Accounts – Affinity

Integrated Specialty Coverages - ISC

• Create the roadmap for determining and developing strategic partnerships. • Execute on key KPIs including revenue and EBITDA growth. • Identify and cultivate key strategic partners such as insurance carriers and retail operations such as Lowes and Home Depot. In addition, identify opportunities in nontraditional distribution channels. • Lead negotiations for new contracts and override agreements with key partners. • Develop and implement long term sales objectives and profit-sharing structures based on production. • Collaborate with legal to ensure the contractual agreements protect the interests of the company. • Identify potential industry trade associations that we can partner with to be an endorsed carrier for them i.e., construction, hospitality, etc. • Provide insights to product and underwriting to ensure we are efficient and best in class from the customer’s perspective. • Lead the implementation and roll-out of these programs. • Provide insights, competitive intelligence to product managers, underwriting and the sales team to enhance efficiency, competitiveness, and ease of doing business. • Collaborate with IT to ensure all systems are optimized for tracking and reporting purposes. • Maintain and update producer marketing database (Salesforce). • Facilitate product webinars and website demonstrations. • Support corporate communications, marketing, and advertising. • Represent the company at various industry trade shows designed to drive additional business. • Propose and follow up on corporate and individual promotions. • Undertake special projects as assigned by management and perform other duties as requested. • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure partnership success. • Provide necessary training and support to partners to ensure mutual success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 12+ years’ previous sales and/or marketing experience.
  • Experience building partnerships and sales pipelines.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in the commercial insurance industry highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
  • Has held similar roles in the past driving growth and elevating sales strategy.
  • Experience leading and mentoring sales teams.
  • Travel-willing to travel up to 50%.
