Job Title: Remote Overhead Line Inspector (Imagery-Based/Desktop) Location: US - Remote Division: Operations Department: Field Ops - US Reports to: Lead Overhead Line Inspector Compensation: $32 - $48/hour* Employee status: Seasonal Classification: Non-exempt, Hourly *Most candidates fall between $34-$42/hour, and the hourly rate will be dependent on experience, technical expertise, and familiarity with utility inspection standards. About the Role: This is a fully remote position based in the United States. Occasional travel may be required for in-person training at customer facilities or with the Cyberhawk management team in Denver. In this role, you will conduct detailed remote inspections of utility assets including distribution, transmission, and substation assets. Inspections are performed by analyzing imagery captured via drone (UAS), helicopter, or ground-based cameras, using either customer software platforms or Cyberhawk's software, iHawk. You will be responsible for identifying and documenting inspection findings in accordance with complex, customer-specific inspection standards. This is an advanced, independent role best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of making informed assessment decisions with minimal supervision. A strong understanding of utility infrastructure and inspection methodologies is essential to success in this position.
