Job Description

Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager

Electric Hydrogen

• Develop relationships to create strategic sourcing models for professional services that improve the value of necessary goods and services • Implement cost-effective procurement practices, optimizing supplier performance and competitive pricing • Prepare RFQs, RFPs, bid documents, analyze proposals, and administer the evaluation process • Craft negotiation strategies and build favorable terms and conditions • Create contract documents in collaboration with the legal department • Contribute input toward the creation and implementation of programs to assess and promote supplier performance, development and management (e.g., establishing quarterly and annual goals, conducting quarterly business reviews, formal scorecard measures) • Report out on measurements within your category that support our goals • Maintain relationships with suppliers to lead collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement • Analyze market trends, perform benchmarking and use industry knowledge to identify cost-saving opportunities

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other related field
  • 5+ years in purchasing, buying, or procurement
  • Demonstrated experience making data-driven decisions with incomplete information
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to partner across different teams
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, Smartsheet, or similar tools
