Role Description The project team will support key IT/IS initiatives to enhance audit logging and monitoring technologies to sustain security controls. The Process Lead will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define process objectives for audit logging and monitoring systems. You will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that align with security and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for documenting business processes and updating or creating related Knowledge Base (KB) articles. Internal Audit Analyst II | 100% Remote (WFH) Opportunity General Summary The Internal Audit Analyst II is an experienced audit professional responsible for executing basic to moderately complex audits with minimal supervision across business and IT functions. Building on foundational audit knowledge, this role applies professional judgement to risk assessment, control evaluation, and findings development across assurance and advisory engagements, including SOX testing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Execute audit engagements independently across business and IT functions including underwriting, claims, finance, operations, and IT general controls (ITGCs), with limited day-to-day supervision. - Lead the planning phase for assigned work streams: conduct risk assessments, develop or refine audit programs, and document scope rationale. - Independently conduct process walkthroughs with business and IT owners; prepare process narratives, flowcharts, and risk and control matrices (RCMs) without supervisor assistance. - Design and execute test procedures for both design adequacy and operating effectiveness; document conclusions with clear evidence linkage in accordance with departmental standards. - Evaluate exceptions and control gaps identified during testing; assess root cause and draft well-supported audit observations and recommendations for engagement lead review. - Prepare draft audit reports and management presentations; incorporate feedback from senior team members. - Track open audit recommendations and management action plan commitments for assigned engagements; follow up with process owners on timely resolution. - Perform SOX/ICFR control walkthroughs and operating effectiveness testing independently for assigned process areas; assess deficiency severity with supervisor input. - Coordinate external audit support activities by managing document requests, organizing evidence packages, scheduling walkthroughs, and serving as a point of contact for auditor inquiries on assigned areas. - Contribute to advisory engagements including process improvement reviews and pre-implementation assessments as assigned. - Perform other projects as assigned. - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Senior Premium Auditor (Workers' Compensation) | 100% Remote Opportunity General Summary Under minimal supervision, determine the premium base for each risk of assigned accounts by performing remote telephone premium audits of insured’s records, verifying the operations performed, ascertaining proper classifications, and allocating payroll and appropriate subcontracted amounts in accordance with home state manual rules, state regulations and company standards. Typically conducts the most complex physical premium audits. Physical Auditors are responsible for truing up in excess of $2.5M in premium each year. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Using independent judgment, prioritize and schedule assigned audits. - Review audit case information and obtain required payroll and premium documentation from policyholders. Conduct remote telephone or on-site physical premium audits – - Audit insured’s payroll records, financial statements and tax records - Conduct entrance and exit interviews with policyholders to gather information and discuss premium audit results. - Visually inspect worksite(s) to validate classifications as appropriate. - Analyze and review claims to verify employment, proper classification coding and proper allocation of payroll. - Prepare a compressive premium audit report in compliance with company policies and standards. - Report changes in policy information, financial condition, operations or any fact that may affect the insurability of the policyholder. - Complete assigned work within established company standards for quality and production. - Respond to audit questions and disputes in a timely manner. - Regularly utilize internal systems to complete premium audits. - Demonstrate expert knowledge of manual rules, state regulations, and company standards and procedures. Remain up to date with relevant premium audit and insurance industry changes. - Include average inventory EAP (~$5.4M) and average policy size ($28K) (Consequences of errors discussion) - Mentor and train other auditors as assigned. - Other duties as assigned. Requirements - 7+ years of prior experience in workers’ compensation premium audit applying either WCIRB or NCCI rules and regulations or equivalent experience required. - Working knowledge of home state manual rules (WCIRB or NCCI) and applicable state exceptions. - Valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record. - Intermediate computer skills including ability to use spreadsheets, e-mail and 10-key by touch. - The ability to effectively convey complex information to policyholders, agents/brokers, and internal customers using strong written and verbal communication skills. - The ability to interpret and comprehend a variety of payroll and other financial/business documents. - Exceptional time management skills to manage workload and related administrative tasks. - Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. • The Supplier Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of components and materials procured from external suppliers for aerospace manufacturing. • Collaborating with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards. • Conducting thorough assessments and Special Process audits. • Implementing quality control processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and safety. • Evaluating new and existing suppliers' capabilities, quality management systems, and adherence to corporate aerospace and or industry standard regulations to special processing requirements. • Conducting comprehensive supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance with quality requirements and specifications. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to qualify new suppliers and ensure they meet the stringent quality standards of the aerospace industry. • Developing and implementing quality control audit criteria, and executing supplier special processing audits to support product acceptance for incoming materials, components, and assemblies. • Performing thorough special process reviews and evaluations ensure compliance with aerospace processing specifications and standards. • Detecting Special Processing audit checklists, logging findings/discrepancies, coordinating effective Corrective and Preventative actions to closure in a timely manner. • Monitoring supplier performance through regular evaluations, statistical analysis, and root cause analysis of non-conformances for potential effects to special processing. • Identifying opportunities for special process audit improvements within the supply chain to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. • Leading or participating in cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement projects and initiatives, leveraging tools such as Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. • Analyzing quality data, trends, and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. • Providing training and support to suppliers on special process qualifications and approval, including internal AR methods process specifications, and or industry standards. • Ensuring that suppliers comply with all relevant aerospace regulations, standards, and customer requirements, may include AS9100, and or NADCAP. • Staying informed about AR methods processing specification changes and industry standard updates affecting supplier quality management, ensuring timely implementation of necessary changes. • Supporting AR compliance audits and inspections by providing documentation, evidence of compliance, and assistance during AR Customer or AS9100 3rd party Registrar audits.
