Summary: ActiveDisclosure℠ from Donnelley Financial Solutions is a financial reporting solution specifically designed for companies that rely on the Microsoft Office® productivity suite to draft, collaborate and finalize SEC disclosures. ActiveDisclosure helps streamline content creation, review and distribution improving efficiency, governance and the overall quality of all financial reports. The ActiveDisclosure Solutions Engineer at DFIN is a member of the sales delivery team for the ActiveDisclosure product line. Generally, this role is responsible demonstrating the capabilities of the platform from the aspect of someone who has been in the seat of our customers. This person will be both the technical and solution expert aligning customer needs and providing consultative guidance with the application. Responsibilities: - Work with ActiveDisclosure sales team to aid customers and prospects during the discovery process to align goals and needs to our solution - Demonstrate the capabilities of the ActiveDisclosure platform to customers based on their needs - Leverage your own expertise and experience to align with customers' needs - Participate in discussions surrounding new use cases for customers - Attend and supports webinars for overall client education - Collaborates closely with company support functions as required - Attends conferences or events to inform and demonstrate aspects of the ActiveDisclosure platform Qualifications: - Certified Public Accountant (United States) or equivalent preferred - Minimum five (5) years experience in public accounting, financial consulting, and/or large publicly-traded company financial reporting - Undergraduate degree in an accounting or finance-related field or combination of experience and education - Prior experience using ActiveDisclosure from Donnelley Financial Solutions preferred - Strong overall MS Office proficiency preferred, with advanced MS Excel proficiency required - Experience presenting to financial, accounting, leadership, and/or legal groups; both in-person and remotely - Working knowledge of overall Global Capital Markets environment, with emphasis on United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations, reporting requirements, and reporting timelines - Working knowledge of other voluntary and compliance use cases, including but not limited to sustainability reporting, statutory financial statements, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, etc. - Occasional travel required based on strategic demand
