Field Data Specialist – Travel Position

ID Plans

• Independently drive or fly to commercial properties to capture precise data • Use 3D cameras, laser measurement tools, and specialized software to document building measurements, sprinkler, HVAC locations, and interior/exterior features • Gather data, take measurements, and input data while ensuring accuracy • Communicate with property managers to gather access information for appointments and arrival times

Job Requirements

  • Experience in mapping, property appraisal, inspections, GIS, data collection, data entry, land surveying, or outdoor, detail-oriented fieldwork
  • Ability to travel out of state Monday–Friday (home most weekends)
  • Use of own reliable vehicle capable of carrying a 6-foot ladder and long-distance travel
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions, climb ladders up to 30 feet, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Confident use of technology (iPads, laptops, mobile apps, photography technology)
  • Follow detailed instructions with accuracy and care
  • Stay focused, organized, and self-motivated while working alone
