Job Title: Integration Engineer Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ServiceNow Integration Engineer supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and a variety of enterprise systems, with an initial focus on systems critical to our operational workflows. You will work closely with business stakeholders, ServiceNow developers, and other IT teams to ensure seamless data flow and process automation across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, integration methodologies, and web service technologies, and will be comfortable working with both established and emerging integration patterns. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement integrations between ServiceNow and various enterprise systems, which may include government / DoD systems, vendor and licensing systems and other enterprise tools. - Utilize ServiceNow integration technologies such as: - REST APIs - SOAP APIs - MID Servers - Integration Hub (Spokes, Flows) - JDBC/ODBC Connections - Email Integration - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration designs, data mappings, and test plans. - Perform thorough testing of integrations to ensure data accuracy and functionality. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner. - Monitor integration performance and identify opportunities for optimization. - Stay up-to-date on the latest features of ServiceNow and integration of best practices. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards. - Work closely with ServiceNow developers to implement custom solutions and enhancements. - Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the ServiceNow platform. - Automate manual processes using ServiceNow workflows and integrations. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Qualifications: Required: - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance - 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience). - 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and integration. - Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and functionalities. - Experience with REST and SOAP APIs. - Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS. - Experience with data mapping and transformation. - Experience with ServiceNow MID Server configuration and troubleshooting. - Experience with Integration Hub and ServiceNow Flow Designer. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification. - Experience in integrating with tools and sources for hardware and / or software asset management. - Candidate should have a CompTIA Security+ certification or be able to obtain it within 60 days of hire.
