Controls Applications Engineer
DCS - Designed Conveyor Systems
• Develop field placement drawings based on system requirements and project specifications. • Estimate field wiring and controls components. • Review client RFPs to understand controls and electrical requirements. • Develop RFPs for subcontractors and help define clear scopes of work. • Partner with various internal teams to support solution development and pricing. • Evaluate supplier bids and provide recommendations to estimating and leadership teams. • Review supplier contract deliverables to confirm alignment with project scope and requirements. • Maintain and enhance controls pricing tools. • Stay current on new technologies and solutions that improve system design and performance. • Conduct site visits and supplier visits as needed to support project development and execution.
Job Requirements
- You bring 5+ years of experience working with controls systems in parcel and/or distribution and fulfillment material handling environments.

DESCRIPTION Michael Baker International is seeking an experienced “Application Portfolio Manager” as part of its IT organization. The Portfolio Lead will be accountable for operationalizing and strengthening the seamless exchange of knowledge across the enterprise through effective deployment of existing and new technologies, processes, and practices. This portfolio manages the Microsoft 365 suite including SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform and other M365 based applications and project collaboration environments across all business units and corporate functions to help improve the speed and accuracy of project collaboration, operations, and reporting. Additionally, there are several Microsoft-based custom applications that are maintained within this portfolio. Portfolio responsibility includes technology vision and best practice deployment and business process integration of the M365 suite of applications as well as CX and Marketing platforms. The ability to form strong relationships with stakeholders, proactively manage risk, and facilitate high performing teams are essential in this role. *U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
