Senior Product Manager, IoT
DOOR
• Lead the entire product lifecycle for our hardware suite, including our LoRa hubs and proprietary sensors. • Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) by managing field trials, beta programs, and certification readiness. • Make data-backed decisions on hardware iterations (V1 → V2), sensor calibration, and End-of-Life (EOL) strategies. • Serve as the "hub" for a complex web of stakeholders: Hardware, Firmware, Backend, Mobile, Web, Design, Sales, CS and Operations. • Translate high-level business goals into strict technical specifications for engineers and concise value propositions for Sales and Customer Success. • Define the integration strategy with major Property Management Systems (RealPage, Yardi, Entrata) to ensure our IoT events trigger real-world operational workflows.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of Product Management experience, with a mandatory focus on IoT, Connected Hardware, or Energy Management.
- NPI Experience: Proven track record of bringing hardware products from concept to mass market (NPI), including managing beta cycles and field testing.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of IoT protocols (LoRaWAN preferred), device telemetry, and the constraints of battery-powered devices.
- Scale Experience: Experience working with platforms that manage thousands of connected devices; you understand the implications of "at scale" updates and data ingestion.
- Data & AI Exposure: Familiarity with sensor fusion, data analytics, or applying ML to physical datasets is highly preferred.
