We are looking for contract nurse practitioners (NPs) or certified physician assistants (PA-C) who are passionate about whole-person, whole family mental health care and working within a connected network to provide patients with easily accessible, culturally responsive, high-quality mental health care. As a contract provider, you’ll provide evidence-based treatment via live 60-minute video intake appointments and 30-minute follow-up appointments. You'll conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management. Lyra makes it easy to refer patients to therapy and coaching services in tandem with your care. You will provide care to individuals from a multitude of different backgrounds and experiences, as well as those with varying needs and abilities. Responsibilities: - Clinical Assessment and Diagnostic Skills - Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, formulate accurate diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each developmental stage. - Evidence-Based Treatment - Utilize proven therapeutic techniques and medication management strategies to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders, ensuring safe and appropriate interventions. - Family-Centered Approach - Foster a collaborative treatment environment, educating families on mental health issues, involving them in care planning, and providing guidance on supportive measures at home. - Virtual Care Delivery - Conduct virtual psychiatric sessions, ensuring a high-quality and supportive experience, and leverage technology to maintain regular communication with members and families. - Collaborative Teamwork - Actively participate in team meetings, contribute to collaborative care planning, and provide consultative support to other team members for comprehensive member care. - Data-Driven Practice and Documentation - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes. This role helps ensure patients receive timely care, safe medication management, and clear communication — while supporting clinical quality and efficiency across IWC. The NP works primarily in the asynchronous care space, responding to patient messages, handling refills, reviewing critical results, and completing same-day or next-day visits when needed.
