Role Description We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Market Access Communications Manager to join our growing creative agency team supporting pharmaceutical and life sciences clients. This role acts as the critical bridge between market access strategy and creative execution. - Blend a deep fluency in the market access landscape with expert messaging, copywriting, and content strategy and development. - Transform high-level consulting inputs into persuasive, compliant materials (e.g., value decks, pull-through tools, and digital resources). - Clearly articulate a therapy’s value, simplify the path to reimbursement, and ultimately drive patient access across the healthcare ecosystem. Qualifications - 4-6+ Years of Healthcare Communications: Proven track record in pharmaceutical or healthcare messaging, with a strong preference for candidates with deep roots in Market Access, Payer Marketing, or HEOR communications. - Exceptional Narrative & Writing Skills: Ability to serve as a "Strategic Storyteller," with a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to turn complex pharmaceutical data into persuasive, clear, and audience-appropriate content. - Data Translation Expertise: Mastery in interpreting clinical data, health economics, and policy shifts, with the ability to translate these "strategic inputs" for non-clinical payer and provider audiences. - U.S. Payer Landscape Literacy: A functional understanding of the U.S. reimbursement ecosystem, including formulary decision-making, PBM dynamics, coding/billing pathways, and value-based messaging. - Creative Collaboration: Experience partnering with art directors, designers, and digital production teams to develop integrated campaigns where copy and visuals work in tandem. - MLR & Technical Proficiency: Deep experience navigating the Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review process, including a working competency within the Veeva Vault platform for submissions and markups. - Regulatory Rigor: Solid working knowledge of industry compliance standards, including fair balance, ISI requirements, referencing standards, and the distinction between promotional and non-promotional materials. Requirements - Synthesize, write, and edit clear, accurate, and persuasive content for market access audiences, including payers, formulary decision-makers, HCPs, and policy influencers. - Translate complex clinical, health economics, and policy information into concise, engaging messages and narrative tailored to specific audiences. - Lead the drafting and development of core Market Access materials, including payer value propositions, reimbursement, billing, medical exceptions, coverage guides, objection handlers, formulary flashcards, HEOR and RWE data summaries, patient access brochures, educational materials, prior authorization forms, pull-through toolkits, payer and HCP email campaigns, interactive PDFs, infographics, leave-behinds, sales aid copy, payer- and HCP-focused microsite content, and training slide decks for account teams. - Interpret and apply strategic inputs from consulting teams to develop brand narratives that resonate with payer stakeholders. - Ensure content aligns with brand tone, compliance guidelines, and legal/regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, OPDP, PhRMA Code). - Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to gather insights, understand objectives, and recommend content strategies. - Work closely with designers and production teams to ensure copy and visuals integrate seamlessly for maximum impact. - Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects. - Serve as the 'Strategic Guardrail' during the creative process, ensuring that design elements enhance rather than distract from the core access message. - Ensure scientific accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to all client, industry, and regulatory standards. - Support the medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) review process, incorporating feedback while maintaining clarity and persuasiveness. Benefits - 401k - generous employer match with immediate vesting and financial planning resources. - Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage options effective day 1 of employment. - Flexible spending account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA). - Company paid insurances including Short- and Long-Term Disability and Life insurance as well as additional voluntary options. - Paid parental leave for all new parents. - Health & Wellness Benefit (e.g., gym memberships; $1000 reimbursement annually). - Employee Assistance Program. - Generous paid time off including vacation, sick days, floating and company holidays.
