HR Generalist

Role Description We are hiring an HR Generalist to support a fast-paced, regulated business within the food and medical nutrition space. This role serves as a key partner to leaders and employees, providing day-to-day HR support across corporate and field teams. You will handle employee relations, HR operations, onboarding, and reporting while ensuring compliance and alignment with business priorities. This is a high-visibility, relationship-driven role that requires strong judgment, organization, and the ability to operate in a dynamic environment. - Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers - Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices - Support employee relations including coaching, investigations, and documentation - Manage full employee lifecycle: - Onboarding - Transfers and changes - Terminations - Support benefits navigation and leave of absence processes - Conduct exit interviews and maintain compliance documentation - Partner with Talent Acquisition on: - Job postings - Offer creation - Pre-hire processes - Lead onboarding for new hires across corporate and field teams - Track and analyze HR metrics: - Turnover - Workforce movement - Reporting trends - Support organizational changes and workforce planning - Assist with rollout of HR programs and internal communications Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - 3+ years of HR Generalist experience - Experience supporting both corporate and field employees - Experience in a regulated industry (food, beverage, pharma, medical, or manufacturing) - Strong experience with: - HRIS systems (Ceridian preferred) - Microsoft Office - Experience handling: - Employee relations - HR operations - Onboarding and lifecycle management - Strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently Preferred Qualifications - Experience in food & beverage or medical nutrition environments - Experience supporting multi-site or distributed teams - Exposure to global HR processes or reporting - Strong data and reporting mindset Work Environment - Fully remote role - Occasional travel to corporate offices or offsite meetings - High collaboration across HR, leadership, and cross-functional teams Benefits - Eligible to apply for our benefits after 30 days, including health care, dental, vision, life insurance, and both short-term and long-term disability. - Once you hit the 1-year mark, we also have a 401k. - State-specific sick leave will apply based on the employee’s work location and can be used similarly to PTO.
