Director, Analytics
Barkley
• Build and develop a deep understanding of the client's strategic issues, initiatives, and competitive positions. Use this information to measurement frameworks and reporting roadmaps • Ensure that analytics efforts lead to clear, compelling and actionable insights; and insightful narratives are constructed through sophisticated analytics techniques • Create and support executive level presentations and analysis of analytic and data solutions to support client needs • Oversee the development of dashboards, campaign performance reports, and advanced measurement (e.g., brand health, incrementality, A/B testing, etc.). • Translate data/results into compelling and actionable insights; constructing insightful narratives through sophisticated analytic techniques • Ensure timely follow through on all scheduled and ad hoc deliverables. Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes • Present reports, POVs and other materials to clients on a regular basis over the phone and in person • Manage a team of analysts and managers, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and career development support. • Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and marketing science partners to refine data infrastructure and analytics workflows. • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across deliverables. • Partner with the Planning and Investment teams on annual budget setting, media plan development and ongoing budget / plan optimization. • Stay up to date on industry trends, analytics best practices, emerging tools, and methodologies. • Develop depth and breadth of understanding of solutions and offerings across BarkleyOKRP and MissionOneMedia
Job Requirements
- A university degree and 7+ years of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing or digital consulting
- Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but not required
- Proven leadership ability and experience managing client relationships and leading analytics workstreams across multiple accounts.
- Strong knowledge of media metrics, campaign performance evaluation, and experience in attribution modeling, MMM interpretation
- Experience in designing and executing A/B tests, multivariate tests, geo-lift experiments, incrementality studies, and other test-and-learn methodologies to measure impact and optimize marketing performance.
- Ability to identify business challenges and applying analytics-led strategies to address them.
- Stellar communication and presentation skills: we need someone who is articulate, engaging and straightforward – and, above all, can effectively and convincingly translate unstructured business solutions into innovative customer marketing programs
- Ability to train & coach colleagues for growth: being organized & detail oriented, prioritizing work, business writing & presenting, conducting analysis, and time management
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations
- Proficiency with analytics & visualization tools: Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc. SQL a plus
