Role Description We are hiring detail-oriented individuals to support clients with scheduling and coordinating travel plans in a work-from-home environment. This role is ideal for those who enjoy organization, time management, and ensuring plans are executed smoothly. In this position, you will communicate with clients to gather travel schedules, preferences, and budgets. You will research destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities, then assist with coordinating schedules and reservations. • Freight Coordination & Shipment Management: Plan, schedule, and coordinate shipments via air, ocean, and ground transportation. Ensure smooth execution of shipments from origin to destination while monitoring transit times and delivery deadlines. Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customer to manage shipping schedules and resolve any issues. Track and update shipment status, providing customers with timely updates. • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and review shipping documentation, including waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Ensure all import and export documentation meets regulatory and customs requirements. Work closely with customs brokers to facilitate clearance and ensure compliance with international trade regulations. Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documentation, and freight charges. Operational invoice customers. • Customer Service & Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent customer service and timely communication. Address customer inquiries, provide shipment updates, and resolve any transport-related issues. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to support long-term partnerships. • Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Identify potential delays or issues in freight movement and implement corrective actions. Handle disputes, damages, and claims with carriers and insurance providers. Ensure shipments are properly insured and risk mitigation strategies are in place. • Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with sales, pricing, procurement, warehouse, and customer service teams to align freight operations with business needs.
