• Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients who fit our ideal customer profile using various tools and methodologies (e.g., Gong Engage, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, industry databases, company websites). • Generate new leads through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling (LinkedIn). • Craft personalized email outreach cadences based on personas, use case and/or industry, test and optimise to improve open and reply rates. • Collaborate with Account Executive and Customer Success to map "white space" within existing enterprise accounts, leveraging established internal champions to navigate and penetrate new business units or global subsidiaries. • Outreach: Initiate contact with potential leads, clearly articulating SheerID's value proposition with the objective of setting up a meeting with an Account Executive. • Effectively handle objections and educate prospects on the benefits of our solutions. • Pipeline Management: Educate and nurture leads and build relationships with potential customers until they are ready for a deeper conversation with an Account Executive. • Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for the Account Executive team. • Meticulously track all sales activities and lead information in our CRM system (Salesforce). • Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth hand-off of qualified opportunities. • Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate event and campaign outreach, and provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness. • Continuously refine your sales approach and techniques based on feedback and results. • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (internships count!).
- Experience in a tech/SaaS environment is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and engaging phone presence.
- Strong active listening and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and processes.
- Resilience and a positive attitude, especially when facing rejection.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (Gong Engage, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, Sendoso, LI Sales Navigator) is a bonus.
- A genuine interest in technology and a desire to build a career in sales.
