About the role We are looking for a Senior Analyst to be a part of our growing Personalization team. You’ll be responsible for supporting our personalization algorithm (SmartCart) with metrics tracking, finding areas of opportunity via analyses, and testing new features. These analyses and tests directly impact the food we recommend and send to our customers! This role will join Hungryroot’s Personalization team and you will report directly to our Senior Manager, Personalization. In this critical role you will work with the broader Data Science team, to uncover and test areas of opportunity for our personalization algorithm. We are looking for a highly technical analyst who is able to find and effectively communicate insights to broader teams. Responsibilities - Develop a detailed understanding of our database and algorithm, to understand inputs and outputs of our algorithm, and easily pull and validate data. - Test new features to ensure accurate new feature implementation - Help manage projects to ensure development, QA, and dashboards are completed on time and accurately - Design and maintain dashboards and KPIs using SQL, Databricks, and Looker to monitor algorithm effectiveness and business performance. - Conduct daily monitoring of metrics, identifying anomalies, diagnosing root causes, and implementing data-driven solutions. - Collaborate with Data Engineers and Software Developers to define new tables, optimize data models, and integrate ML-driven features into analytical workflows. - Leverage statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies to size opportunities and evaluate personalization and food experience enhancements. - Automate key data validation and quality assurance processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
