PODS
• Act as a technical "anchor" for your team, taking ownership of the technical approach to feature development and being accountable for delivering on schedule. • Set the benchmark for the team by writing clean, maintainable, and highly performant code. • Own the production health of your team’s domain. Build and maintain Datadog dashboards and monitors to track SLOs/SLIs and ensure rapid incident response. • Partner closely with Product, UX, and cross-team stakeholders to shape/inform business requirements into technical design docs and actionable tickets. • Implement and manage A/B tests using Harness or Eppo, helping the team iterate quickly based on real-time customer data. • Provide consistent technical guidance to peers, helping them navigate complex integrations (e.g., Salesforce) and debugging sessions. • Develop end-to-end solutions across our stack (React, TypeScript, Kotlin, Spring Boot) with a focus on modularity and system resilience. • Lead the "path to production" for your team, owning infrastructure and ensuring CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps are efficient and deployments are seamless. • Manage the technical integration between web applications and core platforms like Salesforce CDP, Snowflake, and CMS’s. • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the SDLC, contributing to better RFC processes and engineering documentation. • Proactively identify and fix performance bottlenecks in the browser or on the server to ensure a premium customer experience.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent experience), with a proven track record of delivering complex, consumer-facing applications
- Expert-level proficiency in React/TypeScript and modern back-end languages (Kotlin, Java, C#, etc.)
- Solid experience with cloud-native architectures (Azure preferred), including microservices and RESTful API design
- Strong commitment to automated testing (Unit, Integration, E2E) and a "shift-left" approach to security and quality
- Experience with Snowflake data integrations and data-warehouse native experimentation (preferred)
- Proficiency in Datadog for RUM, APM, and log management (preferred)
- Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystem integrations (preferred)
- Experience implementing AI-powered features (AI Chat, Search, or RAG architectures) (preferred)

• Develop and implement supplier surveillance and oversight plans for routine procurements to ensure compliance with quality and technical standards. • Perform verification and acceptance activities to confirm items and services being provided by suppliers conform to Westinghouse purchase order requirements. • Coordinate with external parties to verify Westinghouse suppliers have implemented a Quality Assurance Program aligned with the items/services being provided. • Perform reviews of procurement documents to verify technical and quality requirements have been correctly translated from Westinghouse design documents and Customer contracts. • Follow-up on supplier corrective action, evaluate responses and ensure objective evidence substantiates closure. • Investigate and report on compliance with technical specifications and verify accuracy of procedures, tests and records. • Review inspection and non-destructive test procedures to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. • Perform or observe precision measurements, physical or electrical tests on complex materials, components and systems. • Review bid specifications, licensing write ups, proposals, purchase order requisitions, supplier submittable, and other documentation to verify compliance with technical and Quality requirements for nuclear and non-nuclear components.
• Provide technical interface with engineering firms on project development • Prepare/review engineering documents using applicable industry and regulatory standards • Prepare or review/verify design output documents including calculations and specifications
• Prepare Design Change Packages observing the Standard Design Change process • Support project implementation, development of test plans, performing Applicability Determinations and 50.59 Screening • Apply broad nuclear plant engineering experience and principles to make decisions and recommendations • Perform complex engineering tasks that require experience with nuclear industry standards and regulations • Lead discussions in a group setting to resolve problems or coordinate design production • Serve as technical liaison within the nuclear department • Prepare and review Engineering Change packages per the Standard Design Process • Provide oversight for engineering vendor activities and perform owners' acceptance reviews on deliverables • Ensure successful implementation of all assigned projects and schedule ownership
