• Design and develop highly scalable, elastic cloud architectures that integrate seamlessly with on-premises systems • Identify and pursue technical opportunities to enhance the efficiency of Egnyte’s cloud platform • Collaborate with multicultural, geographically distributed teams, and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones • Stay ahead of industry trends to drive innovation and contribute to the development of new technologies • Conceptualize, design, and implement changes to ensure key systems remain reliable, fully utilized, and well-supported • Take full ownership of critical software projects, managing all phases from design and implementation to QA, deployment, and ongoing monitoring

• Own the architecture and technical direction of the content processing pipeline - upload API, Camunda BPMN workflows, admin panel, and supporting services • Lead system design for new features and complex changes; create and maintain architecture documentation and ADRs • Drive code quality, review standards, and engineering practices (testing, CI/CD, code style, operational readiness) • Lead technical incident response; write post-mortems with clear root causes and follow-up actions • Identify and manage technical debt - maintain a prioritized backlog and advocate for regular capacity to address it • Translate product requirements into technical solutions, milestones, and well-decomposed tasks • Mentor engineers through design sessions, pair programming, and code reviews; reduce key-person risk by spreading knowledge across the team • Define and maintain SLIs/SLOs for team-owned services; ensure sufficient logging, metrics, and alerting are in place • Coordinate technical dependencies with other teams (Content Serving, Billing, UGC, DevOps); represent the team in architecture syncs and design reviews • Evaluate and recommend technologies, patterns, and tools; pilot new approaches where they bring clear benefit

• Implement automated health checks for AWS resources and applications. • Build performance monitoring dashboards and scripts to track system health and SLAs. • Develop and configure alerting mechanisms using AWS services such as CloudWatch (metrics, alarms, logs), SNS (notifications), EventBridge (event routing and automation). • Ensure timely notifications to relevant teams through automated workflows. • Build Python‑based automations to validate and enforce configuration consistency across multiple AWS accounts. • Develop scripts to detect anomalies, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps. • Create automated service request workflows to engage engineering, DevOps, and support teams. • Integrate alerting workflows with ticketing or communication systems (e.g., Slack, email, Jira).

• Design and build full-stack features across the Laravel Cloud platform — from database schema and Eloquent models through to Inertia-powered React UIs. • Architect clean, testable Laravel backends: Actions, Form Requests, queued jobs, event broadcasting, and multi-tenant API endpoints. • Work across a rich domain: applications, environments, deployments, databases, caches, filesystems, networking, DNS zones and observability. • Write comprehensive Pest tests for every feature — happy paths, failure modes, and edge cases — and hold the codebase to a high standard of coverage and type safety. • Contribute polished frontend work using React and Inertia.js — dashboards, resource UIs, real-time data, and complex form flows. • Uphold engineering standards: PHPStan/Larastan static analysis, 100% type coverage, Pint/Rector formatting, ESLint. • Collaborate with product and design to ship work that's both technically sound and feels great to use.
