Role Description YipitData’s Corporate team collaborates directly with organizations like Traeger, FanDuel, Uber, and Harbor Freight to help them make sense of the vast amounts of external data available. We source, clean, organize, and contextualize data to support our clients in answering their key business questions. We are expanding our GTM Data Validation team within the Corporate practice by welcoming a Technical Sales Engineer to support our new logo sales team through technical expertise and solutioning. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2-4 years of experience who wants to enhance their data analysis and client-facing skills, gain exposure to executives, have a meaningful impact on driving revenue growth by working closely with our sales team and get in on the ground floor of a growing team at YipitData. Technical Sales Engineers will collaborate closely with Sales and Data Product teams to demonstrate the accuracy and reliability of our data, create solutions for our partners, and set expectations to maximize client success. You could be a good fit if you are comfortable working at the intersection of revenue and data, troubleshooting with urgency and curiosity, and always looking to expand your data analysis skills. This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarter is located), one of our office hubs (Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, or Seattle), or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding. Qualifications - 2 - 4 years of experience in Sales Engineering or Client-Facing Data Analysis. - Comfortable working at the intersection of sales and product. - Constantly curious and eager to learn about customers and how to improve systems and coverage. - Comfortable working independently at a fast pace when necessary. - Enjoy or eager to learn to code; SQL/Python experience is a plus. Requirements - Support our sales team through technical expertise and data analysis work, helping prospective clients gain trust in our methodology and accuracy. - Articulate the technical nuances of our data and methodologies for prospective clients, helping to set expectations on coverage, gaps, and limitations. - Troubleshoot data quality issues to overcome skepticism and guide improvements to our data product and methodology. - Help ensure prospective partners are getting the best possible package for their success, taking the lead on scoping the ideal coverage and solutions for their needs. - Work flexibly across teams and functions to drive ARR growth.
