Role Description The Bilingual Health & Safety Associate will play a key role in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of Deel employees as we continue to grow globally. This position contributes to the development and implementation of health and safety programs, helps ensure compliance with regulations, and supports the promotion of a safe and healthy work environment across North America and LATAM regions. - Assist in monitoring compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 45003 standards across the organization. - Support safety inspections and track follow-up actions to address potential hazards. - Contribute to the development and implementation of safety and prevention initiatives. - Help coordinate risk assessments and support the creation of preventive plans. - Provide support in designing safe workplaces and contribute to training material preparation. - Assist in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable international health and safety regulations. - Help facilitate health and safety trainings and awareness initiatives. - Support emergency preparedness efforts and first aid protocols. - Assist in incident reporting, tracking, and analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements. - Support ergonomic reviews and job safety assessments in collaboration with relevant teams. - Collect and analyze data related to health and safety performance and help compile regular reports. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. - Fluent in English AND Spanish. - General understanding of international health and safety standards. - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Comfortable working cross-functionally in a global, remote-first environment. - Experience with data tracking, reporting, and document management. - Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 45003 is a plus. - Experience or interest in health and safety in remote or distributed work environments is a plus.
