Retail Sales Director

Role Description Advance your career as a Retail Sales Director. This job exists to lead one third of the U.S. based dedicated retail sales team within the assigned region and across multiple area teams in the activation of sales plans and monthly priorities aligned by customer account partners to deliver sales budgets and grow market share. People development to coach & care through direct report People Leaders and individual contributors focused on “Driving a winning mindset every day.” - Responsible for generating sales revenue +$500 million annually across 10+ grocery/mass customers. - Oversee several national and regional customers comprising the area’s 4,000 grocery and mass retail stores. - Deliver on key business metrics POS (Point of Sales) and market share growth on a quarterly and annual basis versus budgeted targets. - This is a remote opportunity with regional responsibility in the West Regions, spanning multiple U.S. States resulting in some overnights with travel of 30% or greater. - Candidate preferred locations include: - Chicago/Milwaukee - Indianapolis/Nashville/St. Louis - Denver/Minneapolis/Kansas City - Washington/Sacramento/Salt Lake City - Los Angeles/Phoenix/Albuquerque Working closely with key customer contacts, you will lead and own the responsibility of driving profitable business growth and influence all purchasing decisions of the customer. Qualifications - Significant Sales Experience combined with people management experience required. - Customer Account Sales & Management Experience (i.e. Headquarters, Region, District, or Market Level) preferred. - Strong knowledge and usage of business tools & analytics to help drive results. - The ability to communicate complex and detailed information to multiple individuals/stakeholder audiences, verbally and through written mediums. - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with the ability to drive and sometimes fly/air travel to various locations throughout the day or workweek. - College diploma or equivalent. Requirements - Selling, negotiating, and activation of business strategies and plans by partnering with our customer account teams and retail customers. - The ability to leverage business intelligence data (Circana, Power BI, etc.) will play an integral role for this position. - People development and influencing through others will play a pivotal role in this position. - Demonstrating a Strategic Mindset through the greater than expected impact, elevating the broader Retail Sales skill set development, point of purchase performance, and reward & recognition initiatives.
