Handles incoming chat/text messages through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also known as 988. Provides brief clinical screenings, risk assessments and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing emotional distress. While the interactions begin online, this position may also support telephonic intervention if an individual would prefer or need continued support to ensure safety.
