Data/Analytics Engineer
Braintrust
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines that power our analytics and business operations • Own our Snowflake and dbt infrastructure—manage data warehouse architecture, optimize performance, and maintain clean, well-documented models • Set up and troubleshoot data connectors across various sources and systems • Deliver quick analytics and dashboards to answer business questions • Unblock yourself and others through collaboration, communication, or getting hands dirty with code • Experiment with new tools and technologies, even if you haven't used them before
Job Requirements
- Strong proof that you can do data engineering very well—we care about what you've built, not just years of experience
- Deep understanding of Snowflake, dbt management and various data connectors
- Not afraid to tackle data connector setup, quick analytics, dashboards, and other tasks across the data stack
- Extremely high agency—you identify problems, propose solutions, and execute without waiting to be told what to do
- Able to unblock yourself through communication and collaboration with others or by getting hands dirty
- Not afraid to try new things, even if it's something you've never done before
- Comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out as you go
