Dental Insurance Billing Specialist

The Practice Mechanic

• Understand the entire dental revenue cycle, ensuring timely and accurate posting of insurance payments • Provide extensive knowledge of laws and regulations of dental coding and posting • Apply necessary and required adjustments taken on insurance payments • Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance companies on a daily basis • Investigate and accurately resolve claim rejections promptly

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years dental insurance billing
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and effective dental revenue cycle techniques
  • High school diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred

Payor Change Coordinator JOB SUMMARY The Payer Change Coodinator processes patient changes in insurance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensures that payor changes are completed, payment is guaranteed prior to delivery and revenue is posted appropriately. - Verifies that the correct product and payor are used for the service, equipment, and therapy.
