Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: - Strong experience in process design of water and wastewater treatment plants, including biological treatment, mechanical treatment, and physicochemical treatment processes. - Thorough understanding of engineering designs, layouts, and process piping, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation details. - Background and experience with Regulatory agencies permitting process for water and wastewater treatment facilities. - Oversee and review the development of the submittal, fabrication, and construction drawings. - Work with recent graduates and other staff members to coordinate on the submittals, fabrication, and construction drawings. - Prepare technical specifications and design calculations. - Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, budgeting, and estimating. - Occasional site visits to plant facilities. - Act as a liaison with public and private sector clients, government review and approval agencies, consultants, and contractors. - Review local, state, and federal regulatory requirements for compliance.
