Title: Multimedia Designer Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Department Marketing Employment Type Full-Time Minimum Experience Experienced Compensation $75,000-$85,000 Job Description: At ScalePad, we hire thoughtful builders who want their work to matter. Our roles are designed for people who thrive on driving impact, see ambiguity as an opportunity, and believe that raising the bar is a team sport. We don’t bring people in to run playbooks. We hire people who want to rewrite them. And in this role, you’ll get to do that, while shaping the future of managed services for our global partners. (That’s what we call our customers.) What is ScalePad At ScalePad, we’re building more than software; we’re building confidence and clarity for the people who manage the technology businesses rely on every day. Our mission: help MSPs evolve into MVPs (their clients’ most valuable partner). Our tools turn them from reactive service providers into strategic advisors through a consistent, scalable Customer Success motion. Our product suite unifies risk insights, client planning, and service delivery so MSPs can have smarter conversations, show clients their value, and grow their revenue. But our purpose goes beyond our software. We’re creating a workplace where curious, growth-minded people can do their best work, where ideas are valued, progress is shared, and everyone belongs. Together, we’re creating a future where MSPs don’t just keep businesses running, they help them thrive. We believe that when our partners succeed, we all do. With offices in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Phoenix and a global-first mindset. ScalePad has grown into a category leader trusted by 12,000+ partners across 60+ countries. We’ve been recognized for our products and corporate culture by MSP Today, G2, and Great Place to Work™, to name a few. About The Role We’re looking for a versatile, performance-minded Multimedia Designer to join our Creative Team and play a critical role in supporting our Go-To Market strategy and digital growth. This role is designed to expand our creative bandwidth and strengthen our in-house capabilities across video, motion graphics, and digital design. You design with intent, balancing strong visual craft with performance and measurable impact. Approximately half of this role will focus on video creation and animation development, producing high-quality, platform-native content that supports campaigns, paid media, product marketing, and thought leadership. The remaining time will support digital-first design needs across the broader marketing team, including social content, paid media, campaign assets, web experiences and other creative requests, optimized for discoverability, experimentation, and conversion. This is an execution-focused role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys bringing ideas to life, and leverages modern tools, including AI, to increase efficiency and creative output. Responsibilities Get ready to go beyond order-taking. Your strategic responsibilities include: - Oversee the full video and motion graphic production from ideation, scripting, and story boarding to final output. - Create, edit, and manage short-form and long-form video content for marketing campaigns, GTM, and brand initiatives. - Develop motion graphics and animated performance-oriented assets optimized for digital platforms, including social media, website, and video content. - Support broader video initiatives, including product launches, GTM and campaign initiatives, and brand storytelling. - Produce and optimize video creative for platform-native behaviour (LinkedIn feed, YouTube pre-roll, IG stories, etc.). - Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams to bring concepts to life. - Continuously elevate motion quality and creative execution. - Work closely with Creative Lead and other designers to deliver elevated visual systems and storytelling on both design and video. - Support creative team on designing campaign and brand assets end-to-end, create best-in-class, conversion-rate-optimized creative for digital ads, social graphics, landing page visuals, events collateral, and other brand touchpoints. - Design structured, scannable content layouts optimized for SEO and AI-search visibility. - Maintain brand consistency, apply brand guidelines across all assets to ensure consistent and polished visual outputs. - Review and refine social design assets in collaboration with the content team. - Contribute to creative ideation and visual concept development. Your Strengths and Skills We care about what you can do more than where you’ve done it. However, experience in the following areas will help you hit the ground running in this role: - 7+ years of experience in motion design, video production, and digital design within the SaaS industry. - Strong portfolio demonstrating conversion-focused video, motion and digital design work. - Experience working within marketing or brand teams. - Experience supporting multi-channel campaigns. - Leverage AI-powered tools to improve video editing, motion production, and design workflows. As well as for ideation, asset development, and rapid iteration. - Advanced skills with industry-standard softwares and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. - Strong motion graphics and animation capabilities. - Strong visual design fundamentals (typography, layout, hierarchy, composition). - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are high quality. - Knowledge of accessibility and UX best practices. - Strong collaboration and communication skills. Nice to have: - Experience with 3D animation, Cinema 4D or similar tools. Perks ScalePad offers our employees a blend of purpose, growth, and genuinely great perks. - Everyone’s an owner. Share in our success through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and RRSP matching. - Structured mentorship with builders. Join opt-in mentorship programs and learn directly from founders and senior leaders who’ve scaled multiple SaaS ventures and spent decades in the MSP industry. - Invest in your growth every year. Access an annual professional development budget to level up your skills, your career, and your impact. - Set yourself up with great tools. Work with brand new, top-of-the-line hardware and equipment so you can do your best work, whether you’re at home or in one of our hubs. - Modern ways of working. Roles at ScalePad are structured as remote or hybrid, with hub locations in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Phoenix. Specific work models are outlined in each posting. - Support for hybrid life. Receive a monthly stipend to help you create an effective hybrid or remote work environment. - Well-being and time to recharge. Take care of yourself with 100% employer-paid benefits.
