Per Diem Music Therapist position providing 1:1 and possible group sessions to sickle cell patients of the MGBCI. This position may work in-patient, out-patient or virtually. May also provide cross coverage in adult oncology or adult psychiatry as determined by program manager. Job Summary Summary Provides music therapy services for assigned patients and families, in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care. Essential Functions Develops, implements and evaluates treatment plans. Treats patient to relieve symptoms and provide psychological, psychosocial, physical, and spiritual comfort. Compile all assets for music releases - files, credits, metadata, artwork, etc. Facilitate communication among patients and families. Provides music therapy in-services and training. Maintain professional documentation including session notes, outcome based data, and quarterly reports.
