About the role We're diving into a unique project with a modern, scalable foundation, and we need a senior React engineer who's done this before. Someone who can look at where we are, understand where we need to go, and help build the front-end experience that brings it all to life without slowing down the business in the process. This isn't a role for someone who wants to follow a component library. It's for someone who wants to help architect one and who's already using AI to build faster than most teams thought possible. Where You'll Work - Full-time, in-office at our headquarters in Dallas, TX. Remote roles available. - You’ll be right in the heart of the action, surrounded by a team of passionate, high-energy individuals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do - Build a modern React front-end from the ground up - Drive key front-end decisions around component design, state management, performance optimization, and UI/UX patterns - Own the client-side experience, from reusable component systems and design tokens to data fetching strategies and rendering performance - Work shoulder-to-shoulder with product, design, and engineering leadership in a fast-moving environment - Establish front-end standards, code quality, testing practices, documentation, and CI/CD workflows that will scale with the company - Champion AI-first development and bring proven workflows using the latest coding models, agents, and AI tooling to accelerate every layer of the stack What We're Looking For - 7+ years of professional software engineering experience - 5+ years of deep, production-grade React experience…you know the framework inside and out, not just the happy path - Strong proficiency with React ecosystem tooling, Next.js, React Query, Zustand/Redux, and modern bundlers (Vite, Webpack, Turbopack) - Proven experience rebuilding or re-architecting existing front-ends - Solid grasp of consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and managing complex async data flows - Strong eye for UI performance, lazy loading, code splitting, memoization, and rendering optimization - Comfort working alongside back-end engineers and contributing to full-stack discussions - Someone who has strong convictions about how great front-ends should be built AI-First Development (Non-Negotiable) - Actively uses AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, etc.) as a core part of your daily workflow - Demonstrated experience leveraging AI agents to automate repetitive engineering tasks, scaffolding, and code review - Familiar with prompt engineering and context management strategies that keep large codebases coherent across AI-assisted sessions - Strong point of view on where AI accelerates development and where human judgment must lead Nice To Haves - Prior experience at a startup or in a high-growth environment - Familiarity with TypeScript in large-scale React applications - Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Cypress) - Background as a tech lead or front-end architect Why Join Us - Build something that matters — your architectural decisions will shape this product for years - Real collaboration — on-site means fast decisions, tight feedback loops, and no lost-in-translation moments - Ownership from day one — we hire senior people and get out of their way - Growth-stage momentum — the hard problems are just getting interesting, and you'll What We Offer - Impactful, Fast-Paced Startup Culture: Work on exciting projects that truly move the needle. - Lunches Provided Monday–Friday: Delicious meals on us to fuel your day. - Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical insurance, plus dental & vision benefits to keep you covered. Job Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience

Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
