Regional Sales Manager
MD&A
• Responsible for growing the efforts in the territory (TX, OK, and KS) with the overall goal to achieve pre-determined Sales & orders objectives on an annual basis. • Understand Energy market dynamics and clients’ organizations • Sales of aftermarket products like parts/service/repair, maintenance agreements, and upgrades in the Industrial & utility market. • Work with MD&A offerings to find solutions to address complex customer needs, product portfolios, market dynamics, and sales processes. • Participate in pre-bid, site walk, technical presentation, and key industry technical events. • Provide competitive guidance and market intelligence to support the bidding process. • Work with the Western Sales Director to develop annual territory plans and quarterly progress reports and reviews. • Provide weekly sales call reports/ updates/ forecasts and opportunity tracking • Maintain and build strong client relationships. • Travel between 50 and 75%.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school; Engineering degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience with direct sales with Utilities & industrial customers.
- Strong demonstrated familiarity with Gas/Steam Turbine and Generator technology
- Minimum 7 years in sales and technical field services experience with Siemens, Westinghouse, and/or General Electric for installations, parts, repair, and maintenance services.
- Good Communication skills and confidence with customer presentations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
