Regional Sales Manager

• Motivate and inspire a team to effectively represent TaylorMade within each territory and deliver results • Responsible for the recruitment, training, and development of sales representatives/support staff in specified territory (typically 13-16) • Responsible for researching and identifying new commercial opportunities and providing input on marketing initiatives • Participates in assessing market potential and other projects related to sales/sales acceptability and trends from the field and industry sources • Responsible for investing and controlling MDF budget • Responsible for oversight and approval of budgeted expenses and sales for their Region • Primary responsibility is to direct the work of others in the effort to meet assigned sales targets • Hire and train sales personnel; evaluate progress and results • Provide ongoing supervision of sales staff including goal setting, strategy, and motivation to perform • Plan and manage the sales effort (through outside representatives) and activities for the region with additional support of sales administration • Report on regional activities and results • Keep informed of competitors and activities through review of information from the field or from other sources; communicate results to management • Coordinate the sales efforts with other company departments (i.e. marketing, customer service) in working toward regional objectives and common goals of the company • Responsible for in-depth knowledge of sales programs, policies, and procedures, as well as adherence to these programs/policies within defined territory • Increase sales volume through direct sales efforts with customer base and by assisting sales representatives in the field • Provide continual communication to sales staff from the company including pricing, trends, etc. • Solve problems in the field, monitor promotional budgets; and establish strong working relationship with customer base • Conduct regional sales meetings and inform the sales force of new developments in products and policies • Provide mentorship, training, motivation, and continuous development to enable a high performing team • Perform other related responsibilities and assignments as required

• Handling inbound and outbound customer calls to resolve service issues and identify sales opportunities • Making proactive outbound sales calls to meet agreed individual target • Maximising upsell opportunities during inbound customer interactions • Recording and managing customer interactions using our CRM system • Building trust and loyalty by resolving customer issues promptly and professionally • Developing and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial working relationships with TaylorMade Golf Ambassadors or other key influencers within assigned territories • Maintaining a positive, solutions-focused attitude while juggling multiple tasks • Utilising effective communication skills to identify problems and achieve the best solution with internal customers in other Departments (Credit, Shipping, etc)

This position is r esponsible for the sale of TaylorMade Golf products and services in the territory by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects. Maintains personal one-on-one contact and assures customer awareness by providing expertise, knowledge, new product information and such consistent with company objectives and quality standards. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities: Successfully sell and promote the company's products and services while maximizing the territory’s potential. Achieves both short and long-term objectives for increased sales volume and territory growth. Educate and inform customers and golf public about company products to assure growth, product/service development, quality control and profitability. Responsible for securing and renewing orders & merchandising our products @ account base within assigned territory to ensure best possible sell through. Maintain open communications between company and customers. Establish professional customer/vendor relationship with appropriate customer personnel. Acts within scope of corporate objectives and policies to accomplish assigned goals. Call on and provide service to Strategic Account doors within defined territory (i.e. merchandising, product/fitting training, relationship building, visit reports, etc.) Engage and support Experiential Fitting events and appointments with local on and off course retailers (green grass, strategic, and key accounts). Activate myFittingExp and other applications to communicate account information, strategic surveys, and sales data reports to TM. Performs other related duties and assignments as required Knowledge and Skills Requirements: Must have passion for the game of golf and proficient playing ability Work Environment / Physical Requirements: Flexibility in days and hours available for scheduled work; including weekends. Extensive travel required (car/plane).
