Senior Mechanical Engineer
Sargent & Lundy
• Provide development support and conceptual design for electric power generation projects • Perform technical evaluations of electric power generation projects and facilities • Support project economic and cost analysis and risk assessments • Conduct engineering design reviews and technical due diligence • Travel within the United States and internationally
Job Requirements
- BSME in mechanical engineering from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program
- 12 or more years of experience in the electric power industry
- Detailed design of the mechanical systems of conventional power projects
- Experience with Simple cycle gas turbines, Combined cycle projects, Coal fired generation, Steam systems, or Reciprocating engines (RICE)
- Experience in development support and conceptual design of conventional power projects
- Excellent technical communication and writing skills
