• Direct the organization’s Project Delivery operations, including project management, project coordination • Collaborate with DCS Program Management to ensure project delivery for core clients is of the highest standard • Continue to develop and execute the organization’s overall Project Delivery strategies • Lead all the Project Delivery Team’s sub-function personnel and ensure the career and skill development of your team • Engage in the sales process with all pre-contract functions to ensure that implementation plans are created currently and that all appropriate costs are included in the bidding process • Be responsible for the reporting of your department to ensure that organizational leadership is informed and confident regarding the delivery of projects • Research industry news and trends and enhance IMI’s strategies and incorporate when advantageous • Innovate when possible, to lead the industry • Evaluate organizational project performance data to identify areas of opportunity and adapt as needed
• design, develop, and enhance new and existing products/product lines • analyze market trends, customer requirements, and feedback to develop product concepts in 3D CAD • evaluate and recommend specifications and ensure products meet the technical and functional requirements • recommend and follow reliable, efficient, and cost-effective procedures • create technical drawings and designs that are manufacturable and provide installation drawings and supporting documentation for easy installation in the field • perform feasibility, functional, and quality testing of designs • work closely with other engineers to align designs with production capabilities and compliance standards and ensure project milestones and timelines are met
• Lead a team of Project Managers to ensure client vision is realized and processes are followed. • Provide ongoing training, guidance, and mentorship to Project Managers. • Strategically plan and document processes for adherence. • Assist Project Managers in preparation for monthly financial reviews. • Collaborate with leaders to allocate Project Managers to projects while understanding resource constraints. • Assist with HR hiring processes, including interviewing and onboarding. • Monitor employee utilization, workload, and overtime hours. • Conduct annual and mid-year performance reviews for the Project Management team. • Establish growth or performance improvement plans with the team. • Review and approve administrative tasks of Project Managers (timesheets, PTO, expenses). • Participate in setting and executing the vision, mission, and goals for the department. • Analyze project survey feedback to lead improvements. • Encourage the growth and development of the Project Manager team.
• Manage all engineering aspects of assigned projects—from concept through completion. • Serve as a technical leader, coordinating with Project Managers, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Field teams to ensure designs meet customer specifications, schedule requirements, and budget constraints. • Lead and mentor other engineers on larger or more complex projects as needed. • Develop, review, and evaluate conveyor and material handling system designs. • Interface directly with customers, vendors, and suppliers to review requirements and resolve technical questions. • Perform engineering design evaluations and execute project work under the direction of the Project Engineering Lead. • Review customer specifications and ensure designs adhere to all contractual and technical requirements. • Provide technical support throughout the engineering, fabrication, and installation phases. • Produce system and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and/or other approved drafting tools. • Review drawings produced by others for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
