Position Purpose: Designs, developments, and deployments of the Payment Integrity and Accuracy software systems. Defines system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery. Establishes, implements, and documents the technology integration or migration strategies. - Leads application architecture vision for services using AWS Serverless technology stacks with a core focus on security, resiliency, scalability, supportability, and performance - Defines requirements and architecture necessary to meet business objectives - Promotes, adopts, design, and implements event driven architecture with internal applications and third-party integrations - Responsible for taking proposed solutions through detailed security reviews and assessments to adhere to all Centene security policies and standards. - Responsible for designing and documenting the detailed disaster recovery plan for all solutions – including the fully automated CI/CD deployment pipelines that adhere to Centene technology standards. - Investigates and advises on third-party integrations to develop requirements and architecture associated with external interfaces, protocols, and interoperability with other applications - Collaborates with product and engineering teams to design and build services that meet key product and infrastructure requirements - Delivers both high-level and detailed design for platform and product services - Authors clean, scalable, modular, secure, well-structured, and testable code as needed - Designs and implements microservices with thoughtfully defined APIs - Ensures deployed software can run safely with the proper level of instrumentation and telemetry - Owns designed software/service components from ideation through delivery - Delivers and communicates architecture decisions, roadblocks, and timelines to stakeholders - Reviews system(s) code and provides feedback to engineering teams - Provides mentoring, coaching and skill development to engineering teams - Performs other duties as assigned - Complies with all policies and standards Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and Requires 4 – 6 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position. Technical Skills: - One or more of the following skills are desired. - Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) - Experience with AWS Serverless and managed services (ex. A day in the life (Responsibilities) - Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, develop, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales support team.
