Visit our Website: www.watermarkeps.com Job Overview: Position: Outside Sales Representative - Wastewater, Septic & Sewer Services (B2B & B2C) Territory: Southern Ohio (e.g., Cincinnati, Dayton, rural counties) and Kentucky (e.g., northern/central KY including Lexington/Louisville fringes and rural areas) Remote role Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting: (B2B & B2C) - Actively source opportunities through cold calling, door-to-door in septic-reliant neighborhoods, networking with contractors/realtors/home inspectors, attending local events/trade shows, targeting commercial prospects (e.g., restaurants for grease trap programs), and following up on company-provided inbound leads (ads, referrals, dispatch). On-Site Assessments & Diagnostics: - Visit customer sites daily to conduct inspections (e.g., sewer camera scoping, septic tank probing, locating drain fields, checking for backups/odors/leaks/grease buildup); gather data/photos/videos; diagnose issues like system failures, clogs, or compliance risks. Consultative Selling & Education: - Educate clients simply on problems, risks (e.g., backups, health/environmental issues, fines), and solutions; recommend tailored options (pumping, repairs, replacements, installs, maintenance plans); differentiate B2C (homeowner-focused urgency/empathy) from B2B (compliance/ROI for businesses/contractors). Proposal, Negotiation & Closing: - Prepare accurate on-site estimates/bids; present pricing/options (one-time vs. recurring contracts); handle objections (cost, timing, alternatives); negotiate terms; close sales across residential (B2C) and commercial/contractor (B2B) accounts. Relationship & Account Management: - Build long-term relationships for repeat business/referrals; manage residential clients with annual services and commercial accounts with scheduled grease trap pumping/compliance; upsell add-ons (e.g., bacteria treatments, filters). Sales Pipeline & Reporting: - Track activities, leads, pipeline, and results in CRM; forecast sales; submit weekly/monthly reports to Sales Manager; meet/exceed quotas for volume, new accounts, and revenue. Compliance & Professionalism: - Follow safety/OSHA/environmental regulations (e.g., proper waste disposal); represent the company professionally; stay updated on local regs (Ohio EPA, Kentucky health departments, municipal sewer/F.O.G. rules).
