Business Development Specialist

Benchmark Gensuite®

• Identify high-potential target accounts and initiate meaningful outreach • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders • Convert inbound inquiries and drive outbound efforts • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to accelerate the sales cycle • Conduct in-depth research to identify target accounts • Engage marketing-generated leads and execute outbound strategies • Utilize HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, and other tools • Represent Benchmark Gensuite at conferences, expos, and industry events

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or related fields
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, lead generation, or sales roles, preferably in software, technology, EHS, or ESG sectors
  • Strong understanding of EHS, ESG, and risk management concepts
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
  • Proficiency in using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and other sales tools
  • Microsoft Office domain (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines

Demonstrated ability in taking ownership of responsibilities and executing them to meet business needs and deliverables.
