Director/Senior Director, Legal – Contracts
NiKang Therapeutics Inc.
• Serves as a primary internal legal resource supporting the company’s contracting needs • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements • Provide timely legal guidance on contract terms • Manage and monitor the company’s contracts throughout their lifecycle • Partner with leadership to support compliance processes and training • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams • Coordinate with external counsel for specialized issues • Develop or support training for internal teams on contracting processes
Job Requirements
- Juris Doctorate (JD) and active membership in good standing with a state bar
- Minimum 7-10 years of legal experience
- Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating contracts in pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Experience in contracting for clinical research, manufacturing, or technology-oriented operations
- Contract negotiations; life sciences collaborations; privacy; commercial transactions; licensing; regulatory or corporate compliance
- Highly organized with strong drafting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative working style
