Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference, and here’s how the Intern, Government Affairs role will make an impact: Key responsibilities for this role include: - Assists with research and presentations on U.S. public policy issues, while providing reports and analytics as needed. - Supports Federal and State Government Affairs and Alliance Development teams with projects and day-to-day activities. - Provides logistical support for Government Affairs events and external opportunities. - Participates in Intern program engagement and development opportunities. - Performs other related duties as needed. The minimum qualifications for this role are: - The successful candidate will have completed a minimum of their sophomore year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a Political Science degree program (i.e., or a related field of study). A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. - Has a specific interest or education in Healthcare in the Government Affairs space. - Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and an understanding of relevant social media platforms. - Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with external partners. - Must possess proficient computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. - Contributes to the goals of the Government Affairs team, while also being able to work independently at times. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: If Pursing Bachelors = $20 hour, If Pursing Masters = $25 hour, If Pursing Doctorate = $30 hour.
