Your role in our mission Assist in keeping projects moving as Gainwell helps clients deliver better health and human services outcomes through technology and innovation. - Lead one or more large project management teams by breaking down bigger technological programs and assisting with project staffing - Spearhead project planning, tracking and oversight of assigned staff by providing direction and deadlines to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks - Communicate with the client, company and project team leadership, measuring and sharing project metrics/status; recommend program changes as needed - Create project schedules, program definitions, budgets and objectives to ensure the quality of project deliverables across all phases - Actively project manage across non-direct reports by quickly escalating any risks and implementing risk mitigation solutions - Support Gainwell’s growth as you prepare detailed SOW and assist with new proposal efforts and business development What we're looking for - 9+ years of experience managing complex projects, programs or initiatives through a full project management life cycle, with 3 or more years of Medicaid or Medicare experience preferred - Expertise with project management methodology such as Catalyst or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) - Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously - Experience working with risk management, risk mitigation and incident management - Experience with ITIL and ServiceNow is preferred - Modern understanding of budget development, control and assurance methods, and project management software - Ability to lead and translate the broader objectives of a program into clear and achievable project scope and milestones that can be worked toward - Leadership to train, guide and mentor the work of junior colleagues - A strong executive presenter who communicates ideas clearly - Influencer that who can clearly communicate project priorities and motivate direct and indirect networks and stakeholders to action What you should expect in this role - Remote position (US only) - Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%) - Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation - The deadline to submit applications for this posting is 3/30/2026 The pay range for this position is $81,100.00 - $115,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. About the Environmental Project Manager Role Plans and directs all onsite activities at client location in relation to the storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes and other related services following federal, state & local regulations. Manages and plans activities of onsite personnel. Serves as liaison between client and vendors in relation to service issues and contract management. Maintains pre-established standards for safety and environmental issues. This is a remote job. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Coordinate logistics for transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste from client site including profiling, scheduling, manifesting and physically loading bulk and drum loads. - Consult with client to identify, design and implement cost saving opportunities and proposals. - Ensure compliance with client and government regulations by performing necessary inspections and reporting. Resolve all issues in a timely manner. - Administer client and vendor financial obligations including invoicing, reporting and contracts. - Promote culture of safety by ensuring site personnel are properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with safety, environmental, federal, state and local regulations. - May occasionally be required to perform labor-intensive activities (e.g., drum collection and bulking). Qualifications Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business or related field, or in lieu of degree - High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience. - 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to the education requirement) - HAZWOPER Certification preferred - RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance experience - OSHA 24-Hour Certification - Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required by certain customer-contract requirements. Such testing may include urinalysis, oral swab, drug hair follicle testing and/or alcohol testing.
