Senior Civil Engineer – Renewable Energy, High Voltage Infrastructure

• Lead civil engineering design for utility-scale solar PV, wind farms, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). • Perform site feasibility studies, grading design, stormwater management, and erosion control plans. • Design equipment foundations (inverters, transformers, BESS containers, wind turbine foundations). • Develop access roads, crane pads, laydown areas, and site logistics plans. • Coordinate geotechnical investigations and incorporate findings into structural designs. • Support permitting documentation and environmental compliance requirements. • Provide construction support, review RFIs, and perform site inspections. • Civil and structural design of high voltage substations (AIS/GIS). • Design equipment foundations, control buildings, retaining walls, oil containment systems, and cable trenches. • Develop grading plans and drainage systems for substations. • Support transmission line projects including foundation design (drilled piers, spread footings, micropiles), access roads, and site restoration. • Coordinate closely with electrical and structural engineers to ensure integrated design solutions. • Ensure compliance with utility standards and applicable codes.
