Finance & Strategy Associate

Lola Blankets

• Support and maintain Lola Blanket’s financial model and assist with all financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting. • Conduct variance analysis and reporting on results versus budgets. • Assist in building business cases to assess and prioritize new channel and product opportunities, including market sizing and margin analysis. • Support pricing analysis to make recommendations for new product development strategies. • Report on key business drivers that have the highest impact on the growth and profitability of the business. • Analyze the key drivers and surface insights to support strategic recommendations to improve business performance. • Support the monitoring and forecasting of cash flow and working capital. • Build and maintain cross functional relationships to support Lola Blankets' financial goals. • Collaborate with Marketing to report on the financial performance of customer acquisition strategies and channels. • Support the preparation of concise, financial analysis-backed presentations and recommendations for leadership. • Contribute to the company's strategic planning process by assisting with financial insights and projections that align with business objectives. • Monitor the performance of Lola’s competitors and provide performance summaries to recommend any successful strategies.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in professional services (investment banking, private equity, consulting) and/or corporate finance (eCommerce, CPG, retail, or direct-to-consumer brands)
  • Excel and PowerPoint mastery
  • Experience with financial modeling, FP&A processes, and corporate strategy
  • Ability to communicate insights in a clear and actionable manner to business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing decision-making through financial analysis
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous business questions into a solution framework.
