Commercial Sales Director

• Identify and evaluate emerging verticals and adjacent markets for scalable growth and strategic investment • Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and feasibility assessments to support investment decisions • Establish strategic partnerships and alliances to accelerate entry into new industries • Define commercialization roadmaps, pricing strategies, and value propositions for new and enhanced products to maximize adoption and profitability • Drive quote-to-order conversion by identifying and executing strategies that increase new business success rates and establish sustainable, recurring revenue streams • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and R&D teams to align commercialization efforts with customer needs and market trends • Lead commercial strategy to drive revenue growth across core and emerging markets • Develop the commercial framework and future organizational structure required to support consultative, solution-based selling; recruit and lead a high-performing team as market traction is achieved • Establish performance metrics and sales targets aligned with business objectives • Monitor industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitive movements to inform strategic direction • Champion innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all commercial functions
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in commercial sales, product commercialization, or strategic business development
- Proven success in launching products and entering new verticals that deliver sustainable, profitable revenue and margin expansion
- Demonstrated ability to bridge technical and commercial disciplines, translating complex engineering concepts into customer value
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with a focus on innovation, growth, and operational excellence
- Background in electronics or electromechanical manufacturing strongly preferred

• Manage and grow direct sales and partnerships, including prospecting, pipeline development, optimization, upselling, and renewals • Secure new partnerships primarily through flat-fee newsletter sponsorships • Cross-sell web and social offerings when partners are looking to expand beyond the inbox • Develop a deep understanding of partner objectives and align them with All Healthy’s audience and editorial approach • Collaborate closely with the Editorial team to ensure campaigns are on-brand and resonate with our readers • Manage the sponsorship calendar to optimize campaign volume and revenue • Help evolve our internal direct sales channel by ideating and launching new ad products, formats, and capabilities • Stay current on industry trends and performance benchmarks, using insights to refine strategy and improve sponsor results
